Lost in the Mouth Specific is Diane Spencer’s second solo show, and the first time she is appearing at the Sydney Comedy Festival. Diane is a redheaded pom, who has been lost in the South Pacific for four years now, but she’s starting to find her feet, no matter what ill-timed, wondrous events are hurled her way. If you have ever uttered: ‘If only I had left the party ten minutes before…’ then this show is for you.

Think about the golden spanners, the curveballs, the moments in life that are brilliant, but they seem to happen at entirely the wrong time. Straight from the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2010 , Diane brings you a show about falling in love before you leave the country; growing a new leg the day before the paraolympics; and the perils of sneezing in Hong Kong airport. Diane’s standup style has led audience members to call her an ‘hilarious storyteller’, ‘refreshingly original’ and ‘laugh out loud funny’.
