Dr Charles Firth (The Chaser) and Prof James Schloeffel (The Shovel) have long eschewed the role of “experts” in the role of public policy. Charles is the head of the Anti-Sultana Coalition which seeks to educated people about the correlation between eating sultanas and later dying. James is currently in jail on medical fraud charges but expected to be out by the time of the show.
